The Center for Student Leadership was created to develop strategies, foster academic/SSES partnerships and launch programs that work to identify, develop and sustain the leadership of students and graduates of Kennesaw State University. The Collegiate Recovery Center provides an accepting, nurturing and safe environment for students recovering from addictive disorders to assist them to successfully engage in a course of academic study and to enable them to live honest, productive, substance free healthy lives. The CRC goal is to assist students to have a full, mainstream college experience while in recovery. The CRC is currently supporting 12-step recovery meetings on campus.

The Student Development Center provides out-of-class support services, programs and activities to enrich the college experiences of specifically identified student populations, including minority students, international students, adult learners and students with disabilities. In addition, the department provides an avenue for individuals to engage in volunteer service in the community through Volunteer Kennesaw State University, (VKSU). This center houses the Cultural Awareness Resource Center, Adult Learner Center, Global Village, and the Odyssey Program, a peer mentor program.

Behavioral Response Programs (BRP) is a new division of Student Success Services that provides a central depot for addressing student behavior that is abnormal, threatening, or dangerous to the individual or others. BRP works to identify and intervene in the lives of distressed students in a way that serves the best interest of the individuals and the KSU community.
