Now that you know what PFA is, we want to let you in on some EXCITING programming that is coming your way in just TWO weeks!  As a PFA member, you get to join in on KSU's best-ever Homecoming Week.  KSU has really stepped up this year to create a more traditional, week-long reunion and celebration that includes events for your students as well as you!  Homecoming week is Oct. 15th-23rd and the 22nd and 23rd is also our first Parent & Family Weekend.  We decided that combining parent activities along with our best-ever Homecoming would be a fun-filled week for students and parents.  We are SO excited to host you all on our campus as we have several fun activities just for you:

Friday, October 22

"OWL PROWL"
Parade & Festival @ 4 p.m.

  • Enjoy floats as they make their way around campus and then enjoy vendors and campus organizations from the Kennesaw area as their tables circle the campus green before the concert.

Concert @ 6 p.m. - MUTEMATH

  • Grammy Award nominated American rock band from New Orleans/featured in Twilight movies!

"RETURN TO OWL TOWN" @ 8 p.m.

Parent & Family Association (PFA) /Alumni Welcome Back Dinner
The Commons

  • Mingle with your student and some of KSU's finest staff and administrators!

Saturday, October 23
Pre-Game Events - Club Sports exhibitions/matches

Men's Lacrosse @ 12 p.m. - Owls Nest

Men's Rugby @ 2 p.m., - field behind KSU Stadium

Homecoming Soccer Game - KSU vs. Mercer
@ 6 p.m. - KSU Stadium

During half time, Chick-fil-a will drop little cows with parachutes from a helicopter over the stadium, if YOUR cow makes it to the center, you WIN FREE Chick-fil-a for a year! There are also TONS of other great weekend get-away prizes that will be raffled off. Cows are $10 and will be sold at the dinner on Friday and the beginning of the game on Saturday-so bring your cash! After the game, we will all enjoy a great fireworks show to end our homecoming until 2011.
