KSU Parent & Family Association
The Kennesaw State University Parent and Family Association (PFA) seeks to create a connection between the University and families of KSU students. The PFA also seeks to create institutional loyalty and affinity with the entire family of its students through innovative programs and social events.
The KSU Parent & Family Association:
- Creates an environment that promotes positive communication among parents, family, staff, faculty, and students.
- Enriches the college experience for both parents, families and their students
- Involves parents and their families in activities to promote KSU
- Offers support and assistance for the students, parents and family members through newsletters and other print communication, online social networks such as Facebook, special offers for KSU events, and the PFA website.
- Designs innovative programming to enhance parental involvement. These programs would cover topics and issues that parents and family members of KSU may face.
- Creates opportunities for parents and families to interact socially through Homecoming activities, Parent & Family Weekend, Move-In Day Welcome, and other special programs.
- Membership includes consistent email communication, opportunities to participate in campus events such as musical performances, lectures, sporting events and the annual Parent & Family Weekend.
