Student Involvement at K-State

Posted in

K-State takes pride in being a student-centered campus. Leadership and volunteer opportunities are around every corner on campus. Whether you come from the big city or a small town, there is something that K-State can offer you to make the most out of your time here. It should come as no surprise that students who get involved also have better grades, meet more people and make themselves more marketable for the future.

K-State offers over 450 student organizations to students so that they can explore their interests and pursue opportunities with academic organizations, honor societies, hobby clubs and sports groups on campus. At the beginning of each semester the Office of Student Activities and Services (OSAS) hosts an activities carnival where students can meet and talk with members of all the organizations on campus. If K-State doesn't have exactly what you are looking for it only takes five students and a faculty advisor to create a student organization. After that, students can start spreading the word about their organization and what they do!

Encourage your students to get involved with an organization on campus. College is a time to try new experiences and to meet new people. K-State offers a fun and safe environment for your student to pursue their passions.
