The College of General Studies
The College of General Studies (CGS) is the entry point to Liberty's academic programs. Our faculty seek to instill in Liberty students the knowledge, values, and skills that will help them to succeed in their chosen majors and careers. CGS courses introduce students to a wide variety of academic subjects, focus on giving students practice in developing their communication, math and critical thinking skills, information literacy, and biblical worldview, while offering them a chance to explore the many different programs of study that Liberty offers.
School of Religion
Trained to study, understand and apply the Word of God, your student will be equipped to minister the Word effectively. Upon graduation, your student will thrive in various full-time ministry opportunities, including pastoral leadership programs, youth ministry, women's ministry and intercultural studies.

School of Aeronautics
Utilizing state-of-the-art airplanes and aviation mechanical equipment; the School of Aeronautics will train and mentor your student to become exceptional. Graduates are equipped with excellent technical skills, sound judgment, professional aptitude and strong Christian character, and serve in the commercial airline industry, the Armed Services, missionary aviation, and more.

The School of Communication is composed of the Department of English and Modern Languages and the Department of Communication Studies. Your student will have the opportunity to study under distinguished professionals and gain first-hand experience through on-campus media outlets while studying as a communication major.

School of Law
Liberty's School of Law provides a superior legal education in the context of a Christian worldview. The school's unparalleled lawyering skills program will prepare your student to enter the practice of law immediately upon graduation. Our state-of-the art facility provides three moot courtrooms, including one, which is modeled after the U.S. Supreme Court.
This facility, coupled with our high bar pass rates and phenomenal success in both regional and national competitions, distinguishes Liberty among other law schools, both regionally and nationally. The School of Law is fully accredited by the American Bar Association -- The Council of the Section of Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar of the American Bar Association.
School of Education
Committed to developing competent professionals with a Christian worldview for both school and sport settings, our programs are nationally accredited and our graduates have been hired in prestigious business and sport settings.

Nursing
Approved by the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, our Nursing program upholds an atmosphere of nurturing, support and care in the classroom and clinical areas. We are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and are approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
Our faculty members are involved in clinical practice; possess advanced degrees and certifications in their areas of specialty. With a 10:1 student-to-faculty ratio in the clinical settings, your student will receive a great deal of individualized attention to facilitate learning, as well as professional and personal growth.
