Liberty University Parent Guide
Parent and Family Connections
You’re leaving your student at Liberty University. We understand. We also want you to know that this campus will become a home away from home for your student.
He or she won’t be able to wait to get home for Christmas break, but will be just as excited to return for the spring semester.
Vice President of Student Affairs, Dr. Mark Hine says, “The growth and maturity that will take place in your student over the next four years will become some of the most developmental times of his/her life. And at the same time, we want you to know mom, dad, we’re here for you.”
Our Parent and Family Connections Office sponsors activities and programs to develop and strengthen the relationship between the University and the families of our students. We are here to help you with the transition of leaving your son or daughter at Liberty while you remain at home.
We hope that you sense, through all aspects of Parent and Family Connections, a closer correlation to life at Liberty. We know you want to be involved, so we’re here to help foster that relationship.
Through our monthly e-newsletter and website, we intend to keep parents informed of campus activities and events that affect the lives of their students. We welcome your input and feedback as we plan future events and services specifically designed for you.
Keeping you connected,
Theresa Dunbar
Director Parent and Family Connections
