Liberty University’s Office of Student Housing coordinates on and off campus housing assignments and communicates with other university departments to ensure the quality housing standard of safe, secure and sanitary residence halls is maintained.
Residence Hall Living Options
All residence halls offer wireless and hard-wired internet access. There are four styles of residence halls, each offering a distinctively different experience.
Traditional Residence Halls typically offer 24 triple occupancy rooms per floor. All halls have two communal bathrooms. Cleaning services are provided for common areas and bathrooms.
Quad Living offers a “suite style” setting with double occupancy rooms. Each quad apartment has five bedrooms and two communal bathrooms. All quads have a standard kitchen, dining area, and living room. Cleaning services are provided for common areas and bathrooms.
Campus East Apartments offer an “apartment style” setting with double and triple occupancy rooms. Each room has a private bath. An apartment can house up to seven students. All apartments have a standard kitchen, dining area, and living room. Unique to this style housing, each apartment also has a washer and dryer set. Students living in Campus East are completely responsible for cleanliness.
LU Residential Annex is Liberty University’s off-site student housing which offers double occupancy. Each room has a private bath. Unique to this style housing, there is an on-site dining facility and café, student lounge, pool, recreational areas, and Front Desk service provided by the Office of Student Housing. Students are completely responsible for cleanliness of rooms.
Students with Disabilities
To better assist resident students with special needs, we encourage students to contact Housing as soon as possible. Our staff will work one on one with students to identify the best residence hall to meet their needs.
Housing Requirements
Requirements for living in the residence halls are as follows:
- Must be between the ages of 17 and 29.
- Students over 29 are required to live off campus.
- Must be single.
- Must be enrolled in a residential degree program.
Summer Housing
Students wishing to remain on campus over the summer due to classes or because of employment can do so by securing housing through the Summer Housing program. Registration and housing applications typically go online during the Spring.
Traditionally, the Campus East apartments are used for Summer Housing and students will be responsible for providing their own linens, kitchenware and cleaning supplies.
