Liberty University Parent Guide
News from the LIBERTY Career Center
In a matter of weeks, a brand new, state-of-the-art Career Services Center will be unveiled. Located in the heart of the academia of DeMoss hall, the Career Center will be conveniently located and highly visible for students, staff and employers. We’re working to ensure your student’s education is combined with experiential opportunities and professional development skills to help him secure employment after graduation.
Your role is vital to your student’s success! Encouraging your student to take advantage of the services we provide, like resume writing workshops, mock interviews, career assessment and career counseling, and internships, can help further enhance your student’s skills and increase their chances of getting hired in the career of their choice.
You can also help the Career Center by getting involved:
- Post your employer’s jobs and internship opportunities with our online job search database, LUnetWORK
- Encourage your employer to attend our career fairs
- Volunteer to be a career mentor for a currently enrolled student
- Allow a student to shadow you on the job or participate in an internship at your business or organization
- Serve as a speaker/panelist on your personal career/career path
