Office of Student Leadership

Two major events occurred in the month of October for the Office of Student Leadership (OSL). The first event welcomed hundreds of current high school students for Liberty's College For A Weekend, or CFAW. OSL is very involved as these students stay in the dorms, participate in a hall meeting, attend Convocation and interact with students and leadership teams while they're here. RAs, SLDs, and PLs are very involved in making this an exciting and positive experience for the CFAWs.

In addition to CFAW, October held Liberty's annual Homecoming festivities. Our SLDs were active in volunteering during these events, helping to make the weekend a success. OSL also just finished raising money for the baby bottle campaign with the Liberty Godparent Home. Student leaders have raised over $15,000 in the past.

We just kicked off our Operation Christmas Child shoebox collections that prayer groups throughout campus will participate in. Finally, OSL has begun planning for the November 18th Thanksgiving Communion Service. The event will take place in the Schilling Center from at 5:00-9:00pm.
