Liberty University is now offering classes in the technical trades. These include: Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Masonry, Plumbing and Welding.
Your son or daughter can take these classes in one of three ways. First, they can take a trade as an elective while pursuing their current degree path.
Second, they can take the trade courses as a cognate in an Interdisciplinary degree.
Third, your son or daughter can enroll in our new Associates of Applied Science Degree in Technical Studies specializing in one of the trades.
These areas of study will provide the students with employment opportunities as well as financial savings as homeowners after graduation.
Why not use the time at Liberty University to gain a marketable skill along with a degree?
We currently have engineering, business, religion, FACS, psychology, and graphic design majors in the various trade classes.
We encourage you to discuss these options with your son or daughter as they register for Fall 2012 classes. For more information go to visit our technical trades website.
