Marquette: A Great Value
There’s no doubt that college is a significant investment. But it’s reassuring when outside sources recognize that Marquette is an excellent value, especially when compared to its peers.
Consider these stats:
- Marquette ranked 44th in Kiplinger’s Personal Finance magazine’s 2008 “Top 100 Best Values in Private Colleges.” The magazine analyzed more than 1,000 private colleges on measures relating to academic quality and affordability.
- 48 out of the 55 private schools that made U.S. News and World Report’s top 100 list for 2008 have higher tuitions than Marquette.
- Marquette tuition & mandatory student fees rank in the bottom half of the nation’s 28 Jesuit institutions, according to a 2007-08 survey by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities.
- Tuition covers approximately 65 percent of the cost of a Marquette undergraduate education, and more than 85 percent of Marquette undergrads receive some form of financial aid.
