Outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers will find biking, camping, bird watching, kayaking, hiking, and swimming opportunities as well as breathtaking views of the lush Valley. Explore over 87,000 acres including three state parks (one of which was voted the 2011 #1 PA state park), two state forests and 200 miles of trails. Cumberland Valley is also home to the midway point of the Appalachian Trail with many access points available for day hikes, and the Appalachian Trail Museum, the only museum in the country dedicated to hiking.
