The University campus is located in Coral Gables and is accessible to Miami International Airport. Suggested ground transportation includes SuperShuttle (available for approximately $18 per person and located at the downstairs level of the airport, outside baggage claim) and taxis (fare is approximately $25 from the airport to UM).
Take LeJeune Road South to Coral Gables. Continue on LeJeune Road to Ponce de Leon Boulevard (Ponce de Leon will be the first intersection after Bird Road/SW 40 Street). Go west (turn right) on Ponce de Leon Boulevard to Stanford Drive, approximately one-half mile. Turn right on Stanford Drive into the campus entrance. You will approach the Stanford gatehouse, and the staff will direct you to your destination.
Interstate 95 ends at mile marker 0 and becomes U.S. 1 south. The University of Miami is approximately five miles from the end of I-95. Continue on U.S. 1 to Stanford Drive. You will see the campus on your right. Turn right on Stanford Drive into the campus entrance. You will approach the Stanford gatehouse, and the staff will direct you to your destination.
Take I-75 south toward Miami. From I-75 take Route 826 south. Continue south on Route 826 to the Miller Road exit. Turn left on Miller Road (SW 56 Street) and continue traveling to the end. Turn left on San Amaro Drive, and follow the directory signs for the University.
Passes are available in one- to five-day increments. These passes are valid in campus parking lots identified with the Sun, Palm, Ibis, and Seashell symbols on entranceway signage. Passes may be purchased via cash or credit cards at vending machines located at the Stanford Drive Information Booth, Ponce de Leon Garage or Pavia Garage.
Visitors may park in any meter on campus and must pay the appropriate fee.
