Free Meditation Workshops
The benefits of meditation for a college student are many. Research has shown that meditation improves concentration, relieves stress, and helps calm the mind which can be very helpful during exam time. Some studies show that students who practice meditation improve their grades. The Herbert Wellness Center offers free meditation classes during the fall semester. During the month of October, "Learn to Meditate" is offered October 14 from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Class size is limited so we ask that students pre-register by calling 305-284-LIFE (5433).
