Tutoring at UM

At the Academic Resource Center (ARC), all UM students can take advantage of free one-on-one peer tutoring to develop a deeper understanding of course work through additional, special, or corrective instruction. All tutoring is course specific and taught by nationally certified tutors. Students are eligible for two hours of tutoring per week for each course. Peer tutoring is available for more than 175 courses. Students may also receive individual tutoring in study skills or participate in a variety of workshops on topics such as time management, note taking, and preparing for midterms and finals.
