The Department of Dining Services offers a variety of dining options to meet students’ needs. Choices include the 20-, 14-, 8-, 8 Kosher Plus- and 5-meal plans. Freshmen living in the residential colleges must participate in the 14-, 20-or 8 Kosher Plus- meal plans.

The 5-meal plan is available only to commuter students or students at University Village. The 20-, 14-, 8-, and 8 Kosher Plus- meal plans allow a student to access the residential dining halls up to five times a day.

In addition to meals at the residential dining halls, meal plans also feature “Dining Dollars,” which may be used at any food service operation on campus. The 8 Kosher Plus meal plan provides “Oasis Dollars” which may be used at The Oasis, our glatt kosher deli.

The Dining Services contract is an annual contract, although payment is made per semester. Students enrolled in the meal plan are expected to fulfill this annual commitment unless they withdraw or graduate from the University. Early release from the meal plan may result in a penalty fee.

Students who reside in any of the residential colleges (Mahoney, Pearson, Hecht, Stanford, or Eaton) must choose a meal plan. If the student does not choose a meal plan, Dining Services will enroll the student in the most popular 14 meal plan.
