Well-maintained living accommodations and highly trained staff provide opportunities for your student to grow as an individual through the development of new friendships, exploration of new ideas, and involvement in new activities.
University Housing
Missouri State requires all single students under 21 years of age who are admitted to Missouri State with fewer than 30 hours of transferrable credit are required to reside in University housing. Students commuting from a legal guardian’s permanent address within 60 miles of Springfield may request, in writing, an exception to this policy.
Student Housing Contracts
For all other students, housing information and contracts are available upon request. All students may submit the housing contract and $100 security deposit by mail or online upon admission. The housing contract is for an entire academic year—fall and spring semesters—or the remaining portion of the year at the time of occupancy.
