Students’ required fees include a health fee, which provides them with unlimited prepaid basic office visits at Taylor Health and Wellness Center each semester when seeing a clinic physician. These health services include a primary clinic for diagnosis and treatment of illnesses and injuries, women’s health care, nursing, a full-service pharmacy with both prescribed and over-the-counter medications, diagnostic laboratory testing, radiological procedures and interpretations, and wellness programming.
Consultation services in orthopedics, internal medicine, gynecology, dietetics, diabetic education, radiology, and psychiatric care are also provided. Health services are provided by a staff physicians, nurses, pharmacists, technicians, and support staff. Charges are often incurred for laboratory tests, X-rays, pharmacy, and certain other procedures, as are visits with a consulting physician.
