Dear Morehead State University Parents and Family Members:

We are excited to present this Guide to Morehead State University.  We hope that you will find the information useful regarding MSU and the Morehead community.

Family support is important to college students.  In this Guide, we have included a “Frequently Asked Questions” section which will provide valuable information you can use to assist your student throughout the year.  

Morehead State University strives to keep families informed of university news and events.  Special family initiatives at MSU include:

2. Camp Eagle at SOAR for siblings

4. Parent Guide
5. Family Dinner at New Student Days
6. Family Weekend
7. Family Association
8. MSU “Statement” magazine mailed to families three times per year

We encourage you to participate in Family Weekend, September 25 – 27, 2009.   During Family Weekend, the Family Association meeting will be held on Saturday.  As a parent of an MSU student, you are automatically a member of the Family Association.  See the “Family Association” advertisement in this guide for additional information.
