Family Weekend

September 25-26, 2009

After the students have settled in and the parents have come and gone from “Great Beginnings”, the feeling and emotions subside and MSU life begins.  Students will fill time with classes, activities, making new friends, and hopefully homework.  MSU faculty, staff and students want parents to know that they may be out of sight, but they are never forgotten. 

Join us at Family Weekend as we celebrate the Racer Family!  Come visit with your student and see how they have adjusted to life away from home.  Meet the many friends they have made and their family members.  Attend the Parent and Family Connection Cookout and find out who the MSU Outstanding Parents are.  See who receives the eight Residential College Outstanding Parent Awards.  A total of nine awards that students have nominated their parents for as a token of their appreciation for all they have done.
