About Parent and Family Services at NAU
What is the Office of Parent and Family Services?
We are a multi-service office dedicated to serving both parents and students as they navigate university life. We recognize the essential role that parents, family members, and guardians play in the success of their student. Our mission is to enhance the quality of both the student and parent experience.
What is the purpose of Parent and Family Services?
Our purpose is to advance the mission and goals of the university through the establishment and maintenance of contact between the university and the parents and family members of our students.
Our office provides a medium through which parents and family members of current students develop an interest in the progress and needs of the university, contribute to the well-being of the university, and foster beneficial relations among its members and the university.
We also support the university administration in fostering and encouraging exemplary scholarship by our students.
What types of services do you provide?
Contact us if you are in need of resource referral across campus. We will provide you with answers to your questions or the names and contact information of our colleagues. The Backpack, an e-newsletter designed for parents and families, is also published out of our office.
