Encourage your students to get involved on campus! It is an understatement to say that entering college is a time of transition and new responsibilities. For many students, it is the first time they will have been away from home, shared a room, experienced freedom to come and go as they choose without curfew, or without anyone to remind them to complete their homework.
One strategy to ease the transition to life as a college student is to get involved in campus activities. Make sure to have your new Eagle look into the Freshman Emerging Leaders Program.
