H1N1 Prevention... Prepare your Student:

The H1N1 influenza virus (formerly known as swine flu) was first detected in the United States in April 2009.  It is now the predominant strain of flu in the United States, according to the Center for Disease Control (CDC).  Approximately of 98% of all specimens being tested, are positive for the H1N1 virus.

At NCCU, the health of the campus community is a priority.  We are committed to providing up to date information on H1N1 and we need your help to spread the word about how to stay healthy this school year.

In Fall 2007, North Carolina Central University (NCCU) established the Quality Service Initiative (QSI) to create a respectful, responsive and encouraging environment for students, faculty and staff that will lead to greater retention and graduation rates.

Student Use of Career Center Correlates to Job-Search Success

Can the career center affect the job-search success of its students?
Results from NACE's 2009 Student Survey* show that students who used career center resources intensely were more likely to land a job or get a job offer than others who didn't use or used the career center in a limited way.
