LIVE with NC State! Webcast series for Parents

Posted in

Getting oriented to NC State takes more than two days over the summer before your son’s or daughter’s first semester. In fact, NC State believes that orientation is an on-going process and parents have different questions and concerns during the course of an academic year.

Therefore, we would like to invite you to continue the orientation process from the comforts of your own home. Join university representatives at your computer for live programs over the Internet.

The highlights for these series include:
• Preparing for Successful 09-10: Tips, strategies, and common questions about starting a new academic year
• Alcohol & Your Student:Time for a check-up
• Depression & College Students
• Planning for Success After College: What parents need to knowabout campus career services
• The Middle Years: Helpingsophomore and transfer students
• Additional information will be available in the fall.
• If you are unable to be a part of the live cast, please note that we also have an archived version you can access at any time.
