Hello, to new and returning Aggie Families!

Families are often the best advisors students have, and this guide can help you answer some of your student’s questions. It contains information on many of the resources that can help your student successfully navigate through NMSU.

Our services are diverse and address issues as wide ranging as career exploration, tutoring, learning skills, health, wellness, study abroad, and financial literacy.

These services help students stay on top of academics and find ways to join the NMSU community. You can also stay in touch with what is happening on campus through The Student Guide to NMSU is on our web site. We also have a Family Hotline you can subscribe.

As students transition to college, we will share mentoring them with you. The advice we give them is simple:

  • Attend class regularly.
  • Get involved in the NMSU community.
  • Introduce yourself to your professors.
  • Get help early if you encounter difficulties.

Please feel free to bring any concerns you might have to our attention, and welcome to the Aggie Family!
