UC Programs Help Students, Families Afford College

UC Irvine's Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is committed to assisting admitted students attend UCI regardless of their economic circumstances.

Each year, the campus assists more than 15,000 students - or about 6 out of every 10 undergraduates - with scholarships, grants, loans, and/or part-time employment opportunities. We also assist graduate students with federal student loans.

These resources, totaling over $400 million annually, help make UCI's extraordinary learning facilities affordable to all California students.

logoFinancial aid is available for UC Irvine students from a variety of sources including the federal and state governments, the university, as well as private donors and sponsors. Depending on financial needs and other qualifications, students may receive grants, scholarships, loans and work-study. Complete information on the financial aid application process and the types of aid is available from the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships web page.
