If students are living off campus, their budget has to cover all sorts of living expenses. Unfortunately, full, balanced meals are sometimes left out of the planning. Housing Information
End-of-the-Year Check-Out Procedures for Residents Starting April 16 students may begin signing up for their check-out time at their hall front desk.
Students are required to check-out no more than 24 hours after their last final exam. Students needing to stay past that time - for whatever reason - need to complete an Extended Stay Request and submit it to the hall CRE by April 30. CREs will email students regarding approval for extended stay.

It has been a full year and many students may have already made plans for the summer. Hopefully they can take some well-deserved time to relax! Encourage your student to keep in touch with his or her campus friends and maybe try to reconnect with some hometown friends as well. You may remind them that the summer is a great opportunity to keep growing as a young professional. They may want to look for meaningful work and service opportunities to build new skill sets and keep occupied. FINAL EXAMS AND COMMENCEMENT
The final examination period begins Saturday, May 1 and concludes Friday, May 7. Click here for final exam schedules. Class of 2010 graduates who did not receive regalia during the Graduate Salute may pick up regalia in the UA Bookstore May 4-8. Regalia will be distributed between 9:00am - 4:00pm, Tues - Fri, and between 7:45am - 4:00pm on Commencement Day. The All-University Commencement ceremony begins at 8:45 on Saturday, May 8. The Outdoor Connections Center will be taking their "Paddle Powell" trip May 9th-17th. May 1st will be the Razorback Foam Finger Sunday at the 1:00pm Softball game as the Hogs take on Ole Miss! SUMMER HOUSING
Students interested in summer school housing should request a contract from University of Arkansas Housing by email at housing@uark.edu or by calling (479) 575-3951. Current residents may pick up a summer contract at the University Housing Office beginning March 9, 2009.
Summer school students wishing to stay on-campus should complete the contract and return it to Housing as soon as possible because space is reserved on a first come, first served basis. Students attending summer school 2009 will be assigned to the Northwest Quad (NWQ). Read More |
