Welcome to Oklahoma City

If you’ve never been to Oklahoma City, you may just be surprised at all we have to offer. And if it’s been a few years since your last visit, we know you’ll be amazed by our progress. Over the past two decades, we’ve transformed our city through more than $5 billion of public and private investment in quality-of-life projects and improvements. We’ve created something special in Oklahoma City and we can’t wait to show it off.

A few hot spots for you to enjoy while in town include the newly renovated and beautifully landscaped Myriad Botanical Gardens & Crystal Bridge Tropical Conservatory. With $40 million in upgrades, the gardens bloom brighter than ever and provide the perfect outdoor oasis in the middle of downtown Oklahoma City.

Be sure to take in an Oklahoma City Thunder (NBA), Oklahoma City Barons (AHL) or Oklahoma City RedHawks (MiLB) game while in town. And if you get a chance, head down to the Oklahoma River and Boathouse District where you can enjoy 13 miles of trails along the banks of this U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site for rowing and canoe/kayak.

With 20 nonstop flights to destinations across the U.S. including west and east coast cities, getting to Oklahoma City is a breeze. And being located at the intersection of three major interstate highways means getting around Oklahoma City is just as easy. Our recently renovated Will Rogers World Airport is conveniently located just 15 minutes from downtown and within a short drive of all major colleges and universities in the area.

For more information about all there is to see and do in Oklahoma City, visit our web site or give us a call. You can also stop by our Visitor Information Center located in downtown Oklahoma City.

Again, welcome to Oklahoma City!
