UW Oshkosh students “get hired!” by taking advantage of the many opportunities, programs and resources offered by Career Services. The office is dedicated to creating an environment for students to access the professional development opportunities and resources for success in the work world, regardless of today’s economy.
Whether participating in one of our programs or networking with professionals at a career fair, Career Services helps your student achieve career goals throughout their years on campus. Career Services is also available to alumni.
As freshmen, students can participate in Career Services events and programs, including mock interviews, dining with professionals, career fairs and resume walk-ins. They can also meet one-on-one with a career adviser specifically focused in their major or search for part-time, on-campus positions through the Titan Jobs database.
It is not too early for your student to begin exploring careers and developing a professional resume. Two great opportunities for students to start are the Student Employment Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and the Fall 2012 Career Fair on the Fox on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
