The UW Oshkosh Police Department provides a safe environment — 24 hours a day, 365 days per year — conducive to personal growth and educational development. The University’s highly trained, educated and professional state police officers provide fair, impartial enforcement of state laws and UW System rules.
Student employees serve as Community Service Officers (CSOs), who work in pairs to help provide safety and security by patrolling campus on foot and working station security in the residence halls. The CSOs also provide, by request, safe escorts to students and employees who wish to be escorted at night to/from anywhere within a few blocks of the main campus.
