Pacific Alumni Association

Welcome to another great year! The Pacific Alumni Association is excited to have you and your student as part of the Pacific family. Here are just a few ways the Association is planning to connect with you and your student during the 2011-12 school year:

Student Connections:

This year the Association will continue to help students make meaningful and productive connections with alumni.  The Alumni Mentor Network is an excellent way for students to gain firsthand knowledge of career paths or receive general college guidance.  Alumni are regular guest speakers in Pacific Seminar classes, providing excellent examples of community and professional engagement.  The Association will continue to sponsor the MOVE program; connecting students and alumni to the environment and the community in meaningful ways.

Communication:

The Association understands that Pacific is as much an experience for you as it is for your student, so we want to offer you more ways to stay connected to the University. The Pacific Alumni Association will send you email invitations to the events our alumni clubs host in your area. Keep an eye on your inbox!   You will also receive the Pacific Review, the University magazine and, if you have provided the University with an email address, you will receive the weekly “What’s Up Pacific?” alumni e-newsletter. These are just a few examples of how the Association will reach out and engage you in the Pacific Family.

Traditions:

The Alex and Jeri Vereschagin Alumni House will be open to the University community this year.  Our Pacific students will have an open invitation to visit the facility and learn about Pacific traditions from the various displays and exhibits located in the house.  In collaboration with athletics, student clubs and alumni, the Association will engage in student life throughout the year. The 2011-12 academic year promises to be exciting and robust, offering many opportunities to engage alumni and students in a wide range of activities and programs designed to enhance the Pacific experience.  Please allow the Alumni Association to join the chorus and welcome students and parents into the Pacific family.
