Do students need to get a physical if they are playing a sport?

The college's athletic trainer has a packet of forms that should be completed and on file prior to a student's participation in collegiate athletics. All returning student-athletes must complete a physical in the spring semester for the following year. Times for spring physicals will be arranged by the athletic trainer.

How do students earn athletic scholarships?

Spring Hill College awards athletic scholarships based upon athletic ability. Scholarships are awarded by each sport's head coach based upon talent and program needs and are renewable annually.

How does a student participate in collegiate athletics?

Spring Hill College sponsors the following sports - (Men): Soccer, Cross-Country, Basketball, Golf, Baseball, and Tennis, Track and Field (Women): Soccer, Cross-Country, Basketball, Golf, Softball, Tennis, Track and Field and Volleyball. Tryouts are only conducted in some sports.
