Saint Peter’s College Office of Community Service
The Saint Peter’s College Office of Community Service upholds and promotes the Jesuit ideal of educating students to be “Men and Women for Others.” The Office strives to provide service opportunities for our students which allow them to come to know both themselves and the world we live in more fully. Through participation in meaningful and potentially life-changing volunteer experiences, the Community Service Office prepares students for a lifetime of learning, leadership and service, not just here at
Saint Peter’s, but throughout the world.
Annually, more than 800 students participate in service projects such as America Reads, Loyola Volunteers, and the Monthly Service Calendar. Students work to respond to the needs of others, while also striving to combat injustices that cause them. This past year, through their service and justice initiatives, students spent over 16,000 hours directly serving those most in need in our surrounding communities.
