If you've received graduation announcements for your student's fellow classmates' December graduations, you're likely feeling one of two things: urgency to send out your own announcements or rising alarm that graduation isn't on the horizon.

Most schools do offer an online form that will permit access to grades, health, etc. From your student's school's home page - search for "FERPA Release," or call their Registrars office and ask if they have a FERPA Release form. This is usually something the student has to fill out on your behalf granting you access.
