March 15-20- Spring Break (University Closed)
April 19-24- Final week of the semester

The room selection process has begun at UVM. All students required to live on campus next year, and those choosing to remain on campus, must begin the room selection process by logging into the housing system and completing their online Housing and Meal Plan Contract. By agreeing to abide by the Contract's terms and conditions, the first step of the room selection process is complete and students can begin to envision their community for the 2010-2011 academic year!

March 2:  TLC Shop-N-Swap room selection (1 day)
March 5:  Last Day to Purchase Block Flex Plan for Spring
March 8: Priority Room Selection begins. Shop-N-Swap Opens (Monday - Thursday for the first two weeks)
March 19: Non-Academic Year halls close at 5:00 pm for Spring Break
March 22: Spring Break

March 2: 1st 8-week classes end.
March 3: 2nd 8-week classes begin.
March 5: Last day to add a 2nd 8-week course and last day for 100% refund for dropping 2nd 8-
week class.
March 6-16: Receive 40% cancellation of fees for officially withdrawing from all courses - Charged
$45.00 withdrawal fee. No tuition or fee adjustment for dropping an individual class. No adjustment of fees for officially withdrawing after March 26.

March 1, Monday
: Fall Priority Deadline for the FAFSA
March 5-6, Friday - Saturday
: Spring Family Fling, Sponsored by Parent and Family Connections
March 12, Friday
: Spring Vacation begins after last class; Dining hall closes after dinner
March 15-19, Monday-Friday: Spring Break; Spring Intensives

Founders Day 5K Run
When: Sat, March 6, 8:30am - 10:30am
Where: Centennial Plaza (map)
Description: Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. and entry costs $15. Pre-registration is available and a free t-shirt is guaranteed for those who register by Feb. 26. To register online visit the website and send the completed form to the included address listing.

March 4          Last day to withdraw with a grade of WC

March 6-14     Spring Break 

March 14        Residence Halls re-open at Noon
April 2             Good Friday Observance, No Classes

April 9             Honors Convocation

March 12 - On-Campus Residence Halls close at 6:00 p.m. for Spring Break (University Village will remain open)
March 15-19 - Spring Break, no classes held
March 21 - On-Campus Residence Halls reopen at 2:00 p.m.
March 31 - Cesar Chavez Day - Campus closed
April 1 - Furlough Day - Campus closed
