Al Roker to give Holmes-Hunter lecture

Al Roker, of NBC's Today Show fame, will give the annual Holmes-Hunter Lecture on February 8 at 3 p.m. The lecture will be held at the UGA Chapel on North Campus and is open to the general public.

The Georgia Bulldog Club

Establish membership in The Georgia Bulldog Club for your future alumnus. Providing membership on an annual basis allows you to enhance the lives of nearly 600 UGA student-athletes while also building UGA football ticket priority points. The deadline for 2013 football priority giving is February 15, 2013.

George Mason administrators continue to monitor this situation and follow the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and public health officials. The best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated. To find locations that have flu vaccine, students can visit www.flu.gov.

Spring Career Fair

The UGA Career Center will be hosting its annual spring career fair on Wednesday, January 30. The fair will be held at the Classic Center in downtown Athens from noon until 5:00 p.m. Shuttles will run from the UGA campus to the Classic Center between 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The SCSU MultiCultural Center (MCC) was established in 1991 to promote and implement multicultural programming and serve as a resource in educating the campus community on cultural diversity. Since then, the MCC has offered a full range of cultural and educational programs and has provided support services to assist in the recruitment and retention of students, faculty, and staff. The MCC also sponsors outreach programs with area schools, conducts art exhibitions, film programs, lectures, and conferences and houses a book and video library.
