Campus Crime Prevention

Tennessee State University (TSU) Campus Crime Prevention (CCP) program exists to create prevention programs which address assaults and violence, drugs and alcohol awareness, the prevention of sexual assaults, and campus thefts and vandalism prevention programs that are unique to the students, faculty, and staff on the campus. Through the use educational forums of classroom/group presentations, individual counseling, group counseling and referrals the primary objective of ensuring a campus setting that is safe and secure may be achieved.

University Housing Updates for the Holiday Break

The following residence halls will be closed on Friday, December 18, 2009: Wilson Hall, Watson Hall, Eppse Hall, Hale Hall and Rudolph Residence Center. They will reopen for the spring semester on Friday, January 8, 2010.

Students do not need to turn in keys or fobs, unless they do not plan to return in the spring semester. In addition, students are not required to take all personal items home during the holiday break. However, students are encouraged to take home items of importance and valuables, such as computers, jewelry and computer games and hardware. If students decide to leave any type of electronics or appliances in their rooms, all items should be unplugged and cleaned before leaving for the holiday break.
