And putting it in the basket is exactly what the Tigers have done. Ranking second in the conference, the men's basketball team has had the home advantage with a 9-2 record defeating Delaware State, Austin Peay State, UT Martin, and Jacksonville State to name a few.

Royalty on TSU Row

All the way from Metro Atlanta, this McDonough, GA freshman has a story all in her own. Mia Black came to Tennessee State University in the fall 2010 from Eagle's Landing High School to pursue a degree in Business Administration in Real Estate and Urban Development. She quickly became involved on campus, "I never like to sit around so during September [of 2010], I became Miss Wilson Hall, around November I joined Love You Like A Sister Inc. (LYLAS), and I currently became a tour guide for the TSU new student orientation [in 2011]."

Shopping Shuttle

A TSU Shopping Shuttle was recently established to begin transporting students to and from the Nashville West Shopping Center and Wal-Mart on Charlotte Pike. The shopping shuttle will now run twice on Saturdays in addition to the current shuttle service which takes students to the main and Avon Williams Campus for Saturday classes...
