We just concluded another successful Homecoming. This year's theme was "Recharging the Blue for a Brighter TSU". I hope that many of you were able to participate in some of our Homecoming activities with your son or daughter and experience our love for Big Blue. More importantly, I hope that our students have recharged themselves to complete the home stretch. The second half of the semester will be challenging for many students. Final class assignments will be due and final exams will be upon them in less than six weeks.

Home for the Holidays: Surviving your College Student's Stay

Holiday breaks are usually the first extended periods of time that families spend together since saying goodbye at the dorm in the early fall. College students are accustomed to new freedoms and new adult responsibilities, and while coming home can be a relief, it also can lead to new power struggles between parents and their kids.
