The semester is moving along and we are fast approaching the middle of the term. Your son or daughter should be fully entrenched in their academic work by reading several chapters a week, writing papers, taking tests, meeting in study groups, and completing homework assignments. He or she will be looking forward to the upcoming Fall Break period from October 17 - 20, 2009. Many of our students will go home to spend time with family and friends, pack warmer clothing, and relax from their daily routines. As a parent, it is a good time for you to assess what he or she may need for the remainder of the semester such as food items, clothing, school supplies, etc.

At Tennessee State University faculty, staff and administrators want the best for your son or daughter; and we understand that an education provides them a launch pad for success. A vital component of that success includes your support to the Parents Fund. This fund is an important component to the TSU Annual Fund because it provides resources that are immediately cycled back into improving your son or daughter's educational experience.
