October brings many schedule change dates to note. It also brings Fall Break. Your student may choose to come home, but many students will enjoy the days off with friends.

September brings some very important dates. If your student is planning to graduate in December and plans to participate in the commencement program, remind her to apply for graduation. Also note that as each withdraw date passes, the refund percentage lowers. So, let your student know about these dates!

August brings the end of summer sessions. Congratulate your summer student on their success. August also carries in the new school year. Students will be starting classes on August 23. If your student is new to UCA, encourage them to attend Welcome Week. Welcome Week provides many great events to help your student get to know their school and classmates.

Summer Sessions are very busy in July! Make sure your student knows all of the schedule change dates. Many summer students will be taking finals, while other will be starting their classes. Summer classes can be very intense. Give your student a call, and encourage them to keep up with the fast pace.

Congratulations to all the families of graduates! You and your student have worked hard to get to this point, and you deserve the day to celebrate! May 5th is all about graduates!
If your student is not a graduate, there are still many dates to mark on your calendar. Make note of the start of May Intersession and many schedule adjustment days.
