The UCI Parent & Family Association is an active group of family members of UCI students who look to foster an environment of community support for students by helping to enrich the opportunities, reputation, and visibility of the UCI campus.

Members are involved on various levels, from participation with university and community happenings/issues to opportunities to meet, become acquainted, and to discuss topics of mutual interest or concern both at UCI and in their home areas with other members. PFA members focus on staying in touch with aspects of life and events at UCI that may affect their students.

Members participate in the life of the university by sharing the benefit of their expertise or their personal and professional associations with the university, its students, and one another. This sharing can take place through volunteer opportunities such as participating in Parent & Family Association event committees, serving as regional points of contact for other parents and students, attending regional events, or by identifying and encouraging promising students to consider UCI.
