Campus Housing: Safety and Security First
Resident Assistants are available around the clock to maintain a safe and secure environment. Although there is no curfew in any on-campus housing community, all residential facilities are locked 24 hours a day. At all times, students must use keys to access both residences and rooms. Parents can reinforce UCI’s safety precautions by reminding students to avoid permitting access to strangers, leaving room doors propped open or unlocked, and to stay alert.
