UCI Rings in a New Tradition

Ask not for whom the bells toll. If you're at UC Irvine, they now toll every hour for Anteaters, thanks to a new campus carillon.  For the first time in UCI history, the sound of stately gongs emanated from the Student Center Bell Tower.

UCI Undergrads Get Lots of Online Options

Summer school isn't what it used to be.  Instead of confining themselves to classrooms, some 1,400 students took advantage of online classes offered last summer through the UC Irvine Distance Learning Center (DLC), and those numbers are expected to grow when Summer Session begins June 20.

Summer Support

This summer, UCI will host nine orientation programs for new freshmen and their parents. At each of these Student Parent Orientation Programs (SPOPs) there is a "Panel of Experts" during the parent orientation day. The panel is made up of a faculty member, current students and parent.
