The UC R'Card is a multi-functional Campus ID card. It is the Official photo ID of University of California, Riverside for students, faculty and staff.

The UC R'Card provides for:

• Verification of Identity throughout campus and the campus community
• Library Card for books and other privileges
• Sports Recreation Complex (SRC) Access Card
• Entrance to athletic events and discounts
• It must be shown to take some exams
• Provides building access to some campus buildings
• Registrar services and public events
• Provides free RTA access
• Your meal plan and/or Dining Dollar account
• Your UCR Card debit account (Bear Bucks)

Your UC R'Card also provides a number of optional services that can save you both time and money!

• As a debit card your “Bear Bucks” can be used for purchases and discounts at many on-campus locations; for food in HUB Dining, printing in the Library, purchases at the Campus Store and at vending machines around campus.  It can also be used off-campus at participating merchant locations, visit our website for an updated list of participating merchants.
• If you live on campus in the residence halls or in campus apartments you will do your laundry with your Bear Bucks account.  You can add money to your Bear Bucks account online click on “adding money”.
• Parents can also add money to their students account by going to our website and clicking on “parent information” and then “guest deposit”.

All of these services are provided through the UC R'Card. You can choose to participate in some, all, or none of the optional programs. Meal plans and Dining Dollars are administered by Housing Services, while the UC R'Card Office administers ‘Bear Bucks’ Account Dollars.
