Center for Student Activities and Involvement at UF
Arts & Leisure
Comprised of the Arts & Crafts Center, the gallery, Leisure Courses, the Travel and Recreation Program (TRiP), and the Outfitter, the Arts & Leisure area offers numerous and various opportunities for students to fill their discretionary time with programs to enhance their artistic skill or increase their appreciation of the outdoors.
Campus Programs & Events
Campus Programs & Events is the heart of student event planning and programs at the University of Florida. Campus Programs & Events advises student organizations in the planning and execution of a variety of events and activities which includes cultural months, fashion shows, dance performances, and concerts. Campus Programs & Events is responsible for Gator Nights! (late night programming) and the Reitz Union Entertainment Board.
Student Organizations & Outreach
As the involvement hub on campus, Student Organizations & Outreach is responsible for promoting opportunities for students to have a comprehensive, engaging university experience. IDEAL, UF’s involvement ambassadors, offer involvement consultations to all students to help them create their own path to involvement. Student Organizations & Outreach also provides support and training to approximately 900 student organizations and their faculty advisors.
Sorority and Fraternity Affairs
Sorority and Fraternity Affairs is responsible for advising the four governing Greek Councils: Interfraternity Council, Multicultural Greek Council, National PanHellenic Council, and Panhellenic Council. Sorority and Fraternity Affairs promotes and creates environments that advance the tenants of scholarship, service, leadership, and community.
Student Government
The University of Florida Student Government exists to represent and act in the interests of the students. Student Government (SG) has created an academic and extra-curricular environment benefiting students through its programs and works to sustain and improve them each year. There are opportunities for students to get involved in one of three branches: Executive (Agencies and Cabinet), Legislative (Student Senate) and Judicial.
