Single Student Housing
The halls in the East Campus Residence Area are some of the most requested by incoming freshman. Gator Dining Service locations within easy walking distance to all East Campus Residence Halls are: Fresh Food Company, Beaty Market, Little Hall Shop, and Reitz Union Food Court.
The halls in the Murphree Area are the oldest campus housing facilities with several dating back to 1906. Academic Initiatives & Enhancement (AIE)
Residential Learning Communities have been in place in higher education for decades. The main purpose behind them is to expand the learning experience for college students beyond the classroom.
The Office of Academic Initiatives & Enhancement is located on the second floor of Graham Hall, above the area office. This office is responsible for the development, oversight, and assessment of the Department of Housing and Residence Education’s Residential Learning Communities and Academic Enhancements in the residence halls.
