Academic Services at UGA
The mission of the Learning Center is to assist students in all subject areas to develop the skills necessary to achieve academic success at UGA. Staff members of the Center strive to provide individual, group, audio-visual, and computer assisted approaches to learning in an effort to improve students’ math, writing, reading, learning, thinking, and study skills.
The Division of Academic Enhancement provides academic support services and resources for all students at the University of Georgia. The division’s goals include: providing equal educational opportunities for students admitted to the University of Georgia; developing in each student the skills and attitudes necessary for the attainment of academic, career and life goals; and enhancing retention based on the belief that any student admitted to the University has the potential to be academically successful and graduate.
