The University Health Center (UHC) is recognized as one of the top college health facilities in the nation, earning the highest recognition, Accreditation with Commendation, from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. The UHC exists to advance the health of students and other members of the UGA community by providing primary health care, prevention focused services, and learning experiences which develop health knowledge and skills.

As a campus health resource, the UHC provides specialized departments for students to utilize for their healthcare needs. The following units at the UHC aid students with health care needs: Acute Care Clinic/Triage Center; Allergy Clinic; Travel Clinic; Dental Clinic; UHC Laboratory; Medical Clinic; Mental Health Clinic; Pharmacy; Physical Therapy Department; Sports Medicine Clinic; the radiology department; and the Women’s Clinic.
