UIC Academic Assistance
There are a number of tutoring centers devoted to a specific area of study, as well as general tutoring facilities.
These facilities include: the Writing Center, the Mathematic Sciences Learning Center, the Science Learning Center, as well as Honors College Tutoring.
Also available are the Academic Support Programs: African American Academic Network, Latin American Recruitment and Educational Services, Native American Support Programs, and the Academic Center for Excellence, all of which are located in the Student Services Building.
These are only some of the tutoring resources available to students; they also have the option of going to their professor’s or TA’s office hours or forming their own study groups.
